If there is such a thing as a "Natural Successor" to Sir Alex Ferguson, then who should it be?

My vote goes to Mark (Sparky) Hughes. It would be a nice change for Man U to have a season or two of mid-table mediocrity, instead of winning all those shiny trophies, don't you think.
