Why do you Americans appose this Healthcare bill?

The United States is not Canada. No offense, but until you have actually lived in this country and understand firsthand how our government and society really works, not just rely on what you hear by word of mouth and the media, you are in no position to make an informed opinion about anything that goes on here or make judgments about how our people see things. I've often noticed that people, and Americans are no exception, seem to think that people everywhere should embrace their country's ideals and live the way people in their country live. This is generally not the case, as cultures and attitudes of people that make up those cultures vary greatly across the world. Just because something may work well in your country, doesn't mean that it's good for everyone's country or should be desired by every citizen in every country in the world. If you feel universal healthcare works well in your country and you are glad to have it there, than that's great for you, but don't ume that it automatically works so well for everyone. If you want to come live here, become a citizen of this country, live as our people do, then say you still feel the same way about OUR legislation, fine, but from where you are standing right now, you have no room to talk.
