Laptop GPU Overheat / Can I apply Thermal paste on it?

Putting the thermal paste on your chips with not hurt your computer at all. In fact, it should have some on there. It is not a conductor of electricity It is only there to draw heat away from the chip up to the heat sink. Hope I could help.
