Does the feminist mantra "equal pay for equal work" undermine business efficiency?

I find it revealing that you automatically ume the man always produces more than the woman; the fact remains that if a man and a woman do the SAME job, they should be paid the SAME wage. It's called pay equity, it's the law, and it should be enforced.
